I focus on projects that I find engaging and creatively fulfilling. Most of my work is publicly available on GitHub and GitLab, where I update repositories as time allows. My Java-oriented projects are maintained through a private Jenkins instance, primarily used for testing new commits before integrating changes into select GitHub codebases, including N64 decompilation and modification projects.
My primary programming languages are Java and Python, which I use extensively across my projects. While my overall language portfolio is more focused than that of some more seasoned developers, I have also gained experience with Ruby, PHP, and HTML5.
Although I have accumulated over nine years of total experience, the amount that can be formally listed on a résumé or portfolio is just under four years. Over the past thirteen years, I’ve worked on a wide range of technical responsibilities. These include managing a network server for a game hosting platform and contributing to backend development for the same network on two separate occasions. My responsibilities have included patching exploits and bugs, resolving faulty ports, redirecting traffic, and implementing DDoS mitigation strategies. A significant portion of my time with the network was dedicated to plugin development and bug testing.
Examples include:
Creating hub-based item systems that allowed players to select servers seamlessly
Identifying and patching currency and item-related bugs, including duplication issues and numeric overflow exploits
Improving stability, performance, and overall operational efficiency across the server and staff environment
While I contributed heavily as a developer, the achievement I’m most proud of is the level of efficiency and reliability we maintained throughout the server’s lifecycle.
